Developers will help define the standard for digital customer interaction in the real estate industry.
In October 2024, Proptech Media, the leading publication on digitalization in construction and real estate, launched its "Digital Customer Experience in Real Estate" research. This in-depth analysis of the complex channels of user interaction with real estate, from purchase to property operation, will reveal how specific tools impact the quality of life for individuals and the efficiency of developers. The research aims to create a benchmark CJM (Customer Journey Map) for improving the customer experience, working collaboratively with developers and digital service providers.
In 2023, Proptech Media Consulting conducted research on developer super-apps, involving the top 20 developers in Russia with mobile applications. The results of the ranking included not only developers known for their achievements in digitalization, but also those who recently entered the federal market from regional areas.
Participants note that open market research allows them to analyze their digital customer journey and compare it to competitor solutions, without sharing sensitive data.
Methodology
The research will involve consultants from Proptech Media Consulting, alongside an expert council, analyzing all stages of the digital customer journey in real estate: from selection and purchase to living in the property. A map of key functionality for web, mobile, and integrated communication channels will be created.
Participants will receive specific recommendations for improving the digital customer experience in real estate within a comprehensive report.
Expert Council
The expert council already includes representatives from leading developers and digital service providers. The council is open to new members until November 20th.
User Voting
Over 200 criteria will be evaluated, which will be approved by the council. A ranking of the best digital solutions in real estate will be published, based on functional and expert analysis, as well as user voting. In 2024, a large-scale user voting component will be added to the expert and functional stages of the research. This will be conducted in partnership with one of the largest platforms in the industry, used by over 10 million users monthly.
Why Developers Participate
Ultimately, we all use real estate, and how communication with a home management company or developer is structured has a significant impact on the quality of life.
